Logistics Business Development - Edison, New Jersey

Position Requirements-

In this role, you will report directly to the CEO. You’ll be expected to lead sales and business development responsibilities, and expand our client base.

Your responsibilities will include-
Prospecting and lead generation through proactive networking and leveraging existing relationships. Increasing network visibility and creating new business opportunities.
Lead the qualification process of new accounts through direct customer solicitation. Responsibility includes qualification services, the identification of target opportunities, and the management of the process for qualifying opportunities.
Collaborate across functional areas in development of solutions, proposals, and pricing models. This includes attending sales calls to further define the opportunity and develop the value proposition for account closure.
Manage the proposal and presentation process.
Utilize established processes and tools and ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date.
Provide weekly reporting to the CEO on all accounts in stages for new business development. Identify the work to be provided by the Company’s team to ensure proposals, account sales strategy, and proposal presentations are generated professionally and provide an excellent opportunity for account award.

Essential Skills, Characteristics & Experience-
Experience in 3PL Logistics both domestic and international.
Strong work ethics and creativity.
Ability to multitask and prioritize at a high level.
Effective communication.
Confident decision-making skills.
Strong ability to develop relationships.
Work well independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor’s degree desired.
Experience of at least 3 years in BD required.
Background in logistics- advantage.
Fluency in the Russian language is a must-have.
